  1. Hi Both, Looks like good smooth progress..apart from the interesting little zig zag, does it feel like good smooth progress? I recall rounding the southern cape of Tasmania and it felt like the end of the world...and you're further south than that. We look forward to your arrival as I expect do you. Best wishes A&G

    1. Yes, it did feel like we were at the end of the world and that the boat just wanted to keep going further south. Was soooo glad to spot land just before night fall on a foggy evening. After 11 days at sea, making landfall at night in the fog and misty was intimidating....but then so was that nasty storm that was roaring towards us. fortunately the light houses were distinctive. That zig zag was where we started tacking in to the wind...was not supposed to be THAT way! we'll have grand tales to tell when we meet again! L&E

    1. It did take a while to recover, but we really are enjoying Tasmania. Just posted the daily log from our sailing voyage. Still trying to figure out how to post a couple videos that go with it.
please say hi to everyone at the Tuesday Cruiser's BBQ and pass on a hug from us. I am going to have to source our own Chorizo and Halloumi...Dave's was always the best. L&E
